UK Visa Extension

Tier 1

• Candidates need to prove proficiency in the English Language
• Need to reach a threshold on the PBS
• Age and education are assessed according to the changes conditions of the applicant.
• The earning in the previous year is also considered.

Youth Mobility Scheme (YMS) - Tier 5

• If the visa is granted for less than for two years, then it can be extended based on the requirements.
• It can be extended more than two years but only for once.

Extension - Working Permit

• Can be extended for a period of five years.
• Applicants whose Intra Company Transfer (ICT) or work permit expires before five years, an extension can be applied.
• Your employer needs to submit the application 

Training and Graduate Schemes

• Under the Graduate schemes such as Science and Engineering scheme or SEGS, the facility to extend a visa is not provided in a direct manner.
• Applicants can switch the visas and gain a new type of visa and along with it an extension.
• The training and work experience Scheme or TWES is not included in this visa. This is due to the fact that this scheme is for providing training for foreign nationals.
