Visit New York, Philidelphia and Washington on a USA tourist visa

The USA is an enormous country, three times the size of India, so it's impossible to see the whole country in one trip. However, many of the country's most famous city are clustered quite close together on the East Coast, making it easy to see many great sights in one trip.

MoreVisas are a professional visa consultancy, and we assist many Indians to get USA tourist visas and USA green cards each year. Whether your trip is long or short, business or pleasure, we can help you get the right visa. The typical USA tourist visas we procure for our clients allow travel from 2 weeks to 6 months, plenty of time to see the sights of the East Coast.

New York City

Perhaps the most famous city in the USA, New York City is home to over 8 million people and some of the world's most popular tourist attractions, such as the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. The city's famous skyline and Central Park can be seen in hundreds of films and TV shows from Maid in Manhattan to CSI: New York. There are dozens of world-class museums, and Broadway is one of the most famous theatre districts in the world. Shopping ranges from designer boutiques to bargains, and many flagship stores are on 5th Avenue or near Time Square.

Philadelphia

The home of American democracy, Philadelphia is now home to over 1 million people. The historic centre is flat and safe, making it easy to walk around or to tour in a horse-drawn carriage. The city was established before American Independence in 1792, making it one of the older cities in the country. It's where many of the important decisions about the new country's future were made, including the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. You can learn all about this period in the city's museums, and see the famous Liberty Bell.

Boston

Another old American city, Boston also played a key part in the American Revolution. The city is famous for its beautiful old houses, elegant restaurants and genteel way of life. The area around the city is also beautiful. Plymouth Rock, where the early settlers landed, is nearby, as are the homes of famous authors such as Louisa May Alcott (Little Women) and Henry David Thoreau (Walden).

Washington DC

It's important not to mix America's capital city up with the state of the same name as they are 4,000km apart. Washington DC is home to America's government, and includes many sights that regularly feature in movies and news reports. The White House, where the President lives, is a short walk from the Capitol Building, where the senators and state representatives meet. The Washington Mall is home to many impressive monuments, including the 169m tall Washington Monument and the world famous Lincoln Memorial.
