Relocate to America

Relocate to America
If you have decided you want to relocate to America there will be much to plan and organize before you are ready to make the transition.

How to relocate to America :

To make sure you cover everything and your move goes without a hitch, it's a good idea to start thinking about the practicalities of how you will relocate to America at least 4 months before you actually want to leave.

One of the first things you will need to get organized before you are able to relocate to America is your visa. The vast majority of individuals will require a visa to relocate to America, although there are a few exceptions (such as most Canadian citizens).

You can choose to use an immigration consultant to help you with your visa application; this isn't compulsory but can help to speed up the process by ensuring all necessary facts and documentation are included.

Migrate to America :

Exactly how you apply for your visa depends on the reason you have decided to relocate to America. For example, if you are applying because you have close family in the country, there is no reason to delay. However, if you want to relocate to America to study, you might want to get accepted by an educational facility first. If you don't have proof that you have a course lined up you might find the visa application process is more difficult.

If you are moving for employment related purposes, you might need to demonstrate you have an offer of a permanent position before your green card application is approved. You may of course be relocating with your current employer, in which case getting the necessary documentation is much easier.

Getting a visa is never guaranteed, even if you think you meet all the eligibility criteria so it's not recommended to make any irreversible decisions regarding your plans to relocate to America until you have received approval.

The vast majority of visa applicants will be asked to attend an interview at either the US Embassy or Consulate before their documentation can be fully assessed. The entire process to obtain a visa from beginning to end can take several months, so you might want to get this started some time before you begin planning the rest of your move.

Although it may take you 3-4 months to get matters such as accommodation, travel and removals sorted out, a visa could take even longer. It may therefore be worth considering starting this process even further ahead so you can be sure that your move will not be vetoed before you make any arrangements.
