A plea has been made by an Aussie police officer to the department of immigration of Australia to remove the three year visa ban from Vietnamese student who had been attacked brutally by a neo-nazi gang.

Vietnamese student
Kevin Burke the detective acting sergeant who's from the Hume crime investigation unit and had looked into the case said that the student was the victim.

He had remained in contact with the victim Tuan even after the attack and said that he was a contributing member to the Australian society.

Burke wrote a letter to the Immigration department and wrote that he hoped that they would consider his case and renew his visa.

Tuan was forced to leave Australia on January 8 from the Melbourne airport after officials declared him a non-lawful citizen because his visa had expired on last March 15. For three years he was also banned from entering Australia.

Tuan believes though that there had been a mistake. He said he had received an email stating his visa didn't expire till March 15, 2014.

After the attack on Tuan, Pianist Adrian De Luca had befriended him and has submitted a petition to the australian immigration department which now has more than 75,000 signatures calling upon Mr Scott Morrison to look into this matter. Morrison has said he wont be interfering into this matter.

Tuan visited the Australian consulate in Ho Chi Minh city and has been asked to re-apply for a student visa which could take unto three months to be considered.

Tuan had been attacked by three skin head men in June 2012 when he was returning home from his part time job from 7 eleven in melbourne city.

Tuan was begging for his life while they taunted and yelled at him by calling him a yellow dog, lie down you dog and you f…ing Gook.

A supreme court in Melbourne sentenced the attackers to 10 and 4 years each.

Multiple lacerations were faced by Tuan to his face, head and body and there was also a large laceration on the top oh his skull, severe swelling was there on his face and brain, his skull had multiple fractures including his jaws.
