Visa Application Centres Scheduled to Open all Over the world to help Travelers Coming to Canada

The Canadian Government has made an announcement that the contract for new Visa Application Centre would be handled in an effective manner. They are cost-effective and provide immigration-related services to applicants across the world.

Standing for IRCC, Public Services and Procurement Canada granted this contract after using an open, fair, and transparent method. The value of the contract is $26 M.

The country has used an extensive Visa Application Centres network across the world, to facilitate the aspirants for submitting their applications, and when the necessity arises, to offer their biometrics, to reach Canada.

From 2000, these centers have helped in providing organizational support for visa applicants in all the stages, like before, or during their application, or even in the end stage, when it is considered at the Canadian authorities.

Canada has planned to expand the network of such Centres during the future years. Before November 2019, 149 Visa Application Center locations will start working in 99 nations.

VACs are presently being run by third-party service providers which are certified to provide a set of services to visa seekers based on the terms of contract with the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

VACs permit more service centers in countries where the visa offices are less or lacking. These centers also make sure that visa applications remain duly completed, in a proper manner and also reduce the volume of incomplete applications, which are subject to return to the applicant.

Canada has an extensive VAC network in the world and by November 2019, nearly 96% applicants can have an access, to a Visa Application Centre, in the country where they reside. This a major boost to the people all over the world who show interest to apply for visiting, working, or studying. Canada attracts students, workers, and visitors, who bring billions of dollars into the economy of the country. VAC services have a competitive fee and help the people to travel.

Visa Application Centres are important for several people in the world, who opt to visit, or work or study in the country every year. It will ensure easy access to the required visa services, to the applicants, for arriving in Canada and contribute to our society.
  •  On November 17, 2017, the number of such centers was 137 in 95 countries.
  • There are long hours of work, and also there are more points of service, making it convenient for applicants, and to help them to access and facilitate submission of their application and also for providing their biometrics. It is through the VACs that many biometrics are collected abroad.
  • VACs have a look at the applications and ensure that they are complete and avoid delays/refusal owing to incomplete applications.
  • The new VAC network in Asia will commence operations on November 2, 2018, and in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East on November 2, 2019.
