UK to Revise its Immigration Policy
The United Kingdom needs to reform its immigration policy as the businesses are in dire need of foreign skilled workers, the CEO and Founder at Quill Content, Ed Bussey, said.

He notified that the UK’s fastest growing firms especially in digital technology sector are being held back due to the fact that they are unable to recruit people from overseas. The digital technology sectors is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK and to retain this growth they need to recruit best talent from overseas, added Ed Bussey.

Bussey urged the UK’s Government to fast-track and streamline the immigration process to make it easier for small and medium entrepreneurs (SME’s) to recruit skilled people from non-European countries. He added that simplifying the immigration process will help rapidly growing SME’s to hire talent from across the world.

Currently, the process is geared up for big businesses given the satisfying of certain conditions. However, the process needs to be streamlined for businesses that do not hold enough resources but yearning for talent, stressed Bussey.
