UK Immigration
Keith Vaz who is a predominant Labour MP within the United Kingdom’s government has publicly spoken out his sole opinion on the mass migration expected due to all restrictions being lifted for Romanian and Bulgarian migrants entering the county. These persons are now fully entitled to live, work and claim benefits in the UK which has got the backs up of many tax paying and job seeking citizens who believes they were born here and so should be priority and not have to fund benefits for foreign born people.

He said during an interview with SKY news that he believes this ‘issue’ needs to be put to the public of the United Kingdom, he says their opinions are valued and he has the notion this would decrease the much propaganda and prejudices regarding the new programme.

MP Keith Vaz waited at Luton Airport today - date 1st Jan 2014 - to welcome the migrants entering from Romania and Bulgaria on the first day of the restrictions being lifted. He spoke to one Romanian migrant, Mr Spiresau, at lengths who said he has no wishes to come and claim any benefits and his aspirations are soley to work and then return to his native land. Mr Spiresau spoke of how he had left his family consisting of a wife and two children back home in their rural and small village, he went on to say of the heartbreak his decision took but that this is the only option to provide for his family and would any man not do the same thing? A question the MP had to agree was extremely valid. In his homeland Mr Spiresaue does back breaking work in the construction sector for the sum of 10 euros each day, here he can do the same thing and earn that wage per hour. He hopes to make some money to return home with and be able to renovate his home and give his family a better standard of living, he has no wishes to live permanently in the UK and this is what the majority of migrants who were questioned said.

SKY news took to the streets of the UK to find a majority opinion and this was that though people understand the pleas of the Romanian and Bulgarian it is not our job to provide occupations and benefits as well as housing, health care, dentistry etc for them. Who was there for us during recessions, mine closures, nhs strikes, devastating floods and more?
