The border protection policies will be made tougher day by day, and theres no chance that any leniency will be given by the coalition government warns the Immigration Minister Scott Morrison.

Entering into Australia by boat
Angus Campbell, the commander of the Operation Sovereign Borders said that it is a fraudulent news that Australia is going to loosen its grip over people arriving by boats, this was discussed at the weekly meeting which is jointly held to come p with better efforts and rules to stop illegal asylum seekers entering into Australia by boat.

General Campbell asked the minister if there were any plans now or later on in place to change the border protection policies of Australia in terms of illegal asylum seekers arriving by boat.

Mr Scott Morrison replied to that by saying absolutely not.

The policies that we have currently will be strengthened and made more tougher.

They also added that people who arrive into Australia by boat, illegally without a visa will not be allowed to settle in the country.

Without Visa

There is an Amnesty International report that states that the condition of the Manus Island detention centre in Australia which is used for asylum seekers who arrive by boats is in a very bad condition and is a mixture of a military camp and a prison.

Mr Scott Morrison said that he would gladly accept this criticism if any verifications were given to him with practical observations.

He also added that offshore processing is not going anywhere.

A part of the report said that there were torturous conditions in the camp, he rejected that statement and said he does not agree to it.

Scott Morrison also said that from the Nauru and Manus Island the former government has said that the offshore processing will reduce the budget by $ 1.2 billion.
