Sweden’s population was 9,644,864, that is a 0.93% increase from 2012. Since 1946, this
total increase has been the largest, and the statisticians at Sweden Statistics
(SCB- Statistiska centralbyrån) noted it as an all-time high level of
immigration.
In the year
2013, a total of 1,15,845 immigrants came to Sweden from Somalia and Syria.
This figure is the highest that Sweden ever had in a 1-year time period. Men
exceeded women roughly by 5,000.
Considering the births, deaths, and immigration, Sweden’s population increased by 89,000 people, of whom 40,519 were women, and 48,452 were men, in 2013.

data revealed that 1,13,593 children were born in Sweden in the year 2013. 11th April is considered as the most popular
birthday, as/and on this day alone, a total of 393 children were born.
