Streamlined Immigration Rules for Entrepreneurs
With an intention to help the immigrants who wish to set up a business in the province and woo the entrepreneurs, Saskatchewan, one of the major provinces in Canada is all set to make few amendments to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

Concerned minister of the province for immigration, skills and training as well as jobs, Jeremy Harrison revealed  to media that five major former aspirant streams-science and technology, entrepreneur, farm, young farmer and large scale investor have been incorporated into the farmer owner and entrepreneur streams.

He further added that this new move will accelerate the process and make it trouble-free for prospective applicants to navigate the scheme. As per the aforesaid new streams, each candidate is advised to hold a minimum of 500,000 dollars and for business plans in Saskatoon and Regina, they need to invest at least 300,000 dollars (200,000 dollars in rural communities). Along with this, candidates are recommended to maintain or create at least a single job for a permanent resident or Canadian. Moreover, he further noted that the existing government of the country is also removing good-faith deposit ($75,000) that would move the funds towards startup cost and settlement.

Under the earlier scheme, aspirants in the entrepreneur domains are necessitated to hold at least 300,000 dollars and a 150,000 dollar investment.

The concerned minister of the country stated that, new electronic expression of interest request system allows documentation of requisite information and self-evaluation to start up applications as per the objective point grid instead of first-come, first-serve basis.

Skilled applicants who are highly qualified will have their requests processed at a faster pace, said the Harrison. First and foremost there, will be a self-evaluation process, followed by an extensive process where the concerned officials will ensure that information furnished by the prospective applicant is correct. Harrison further said that the new move to electronic applications will assist with the backlog of paper requests.
