Saskatchewan PNP
Saskatchewan province closed October 2019 with another significant draw for immigration applicants in its Express Entry & Occupation In-Demand sub-categories.

The 858 invitations announced on 31 October 2019 remained a 6-week string of significant draws by these famous Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (S.I.N.P) pathways, neither of which needs an employment offer in Saskatchewan province or Canadian work experience to be suitable.

The S.I.N.P’s Express Entry sub-category is associated with the Canadian Express Entry system, which controls the pool of applicants for Canadian 3 Federal Highly Skilled immigration classes-

  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Federal Skilled Trades Class
  • Federal Skilled Worker Class

The sub-category of Occupation In-Demand is open to immigration applicants who do not have a profile in the Express Entry.

11 Draws Conducted and Higher than 4,700 ITAs Issued Since September 25

The S.I.N.P has now conducted 6 selection rounds by its Express Entry sub-category and 5 selection rounds for Occupation In-Demand applicants since 25 September.

A sum of 4,704 ITAs for a nomination from the province have been announced to applicants in both sub-categories throughout these 11 invitation rounds.

Both categories need a minimum of one-year work experience in an in-demand profession in Saskatchewan province that is relevant to their area of study, along with other criteria.

The SINP’s latest move in the In-Demand Professions List to an Excluded Professions List in mid-September dramatically increased the number of suitable professions from 19 to higher than 200.

The 31 October 2019 draw announced invitations to applicants in 58 professions such as HR professionals, IT consultants and analysts, data administrators and Database analysts, Aircraft mechanics and Drafting technologists and technicians, and aircraft inspectors.

Expression of Interest

To be recognized for a nomination from Saskatchewan province through either sub-category, applicants must record an Expression of Interest, with Saskatchewan.

Eligible applicants for both sub-categories are granted a score out of 100 based on the SINP’s Points Evaluation Grid, which considers factors such as educational level, age, skilled work experience, knowledge in the English language or French and also connections to teh province of Saskatchewan.

All qualified Express Entry & Occupation In-Demand applicants with a score of 69 points or above were received an invitation to apply in the  31 October draw. The S.I.N.P also nominated eligible applicants with 68 points who had 10 years of work experience & language skills in English or French of C.L.B 7 or greater.
