The Saskatchewan Province has invited 853 applicants in its immigration sub-categories of Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand to appeal for a provincial nomination in the most significant draw yet from its current International Skilled Worker EOI pool.

Information of ITA’s Issued by Saskatchewan Immigration

A sum of 359 Express Entry sub-category applicants has issued invitations in the Oct 10 draw, and the weakest-ranked had a score of 60 below the point assessment grid of Saskatchewan.

Further 494 candidates in Occupations In-Demand sub-category of Saskatchewan also were announced invitations to apply. The lowest-ranked between these applicants had a score was 63.

The least score in both sub-categories was the weakest drawn to date since the S.I.N.P assumed an EOI system for the 02 sub-categories in July.

The S.I.N.P’s Express Entry sub-category is associated with the system of federal Express Entry, which maintains the pool of applicants for Canada’s three principal classes of economic immigration applicants

• Federal Skilled Trades Class
• Federal Skilled Worker Class
• Canadian Experience Class

To be suitable for this sub-category, Express Entry applicants should score minimum 60 on Saskatchewan’s point evaluation grid and have work experience in a high-skilled profession obtained on the province’s In-Demand Professions List, among other requirements.

Express Entry applicants who got a provincial nomination are granted a more 600 points toward their C.R.S score and are completely moved to the beginning of the line for an invitation to apply for Canada PR.

Two professions removed from the In-Demand list

In a similar development, the S.I.N.P renewed its In-Demand Professions List on October 11, excluding NOC 3216 (Medical Sonographers) and NOC 2123 (Agricultural representatives, consultants, and specialists).

The moves bring the number of professions that are listed as in-demand professions by the S.I.N.P to 20.
