The latest immigration pathway is now open for global graduates of qualified post-secondary institutes in Saskatchewan who aspire to commence a business in the province.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee (SINP) Program revealed the latest International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream on 3 December 2019.

This latest immigration pathway will support to retain foreign students who have often now happily integrated into communities that are in the province of Saskatchewan, Jeremy Harrison, Immigration & Career Training Minister stated in a government media announcement.

It will also support to create new firms and jobs, as well as keep Saskatchewan province competing in bringing and retaining global students and investment.

The current S.I.N.P category supports Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan for the years 2020 to 2030, which comprises a focus on improving the number of skilled & entrepreneurial immigrants in Saskatchewan.

Tina Beaudry-Mellor, province of Saskatchewan's Advanced Education Minister, told that Saskatchewan province's Post-Secondary Global Education Strategy also intends to bring more global students to the Saskatchewan province.
