Report: In the Past Five Years Toronto Added 80,100 Tech Jobs

The latest tech talent ranking has Toronto among the best 3 cities in both the USA and Canada for technology workers.

The San Francisco Bay Area secured first place and Seattle secured second. Toronto secured the third place better than Washington, DC, Austin, Tex., and New York City in the entire rankings. It was also identified as the best city on whole in terms of “brain gain,” attaching 80,100 tech jobs since 2013.

Tech talent pool of Toronto grew at the quickest pace of all 50 markets taken into consideration, attaching an impressive 80,100 technology jobs in the preceding five years, a 54% increase, the report states.
