In The previous draw, held on January 16th, 2018, 27 Invitations to Apply were issued and the score of the lowest-ranked candidate was 91 points.
The average of the number of invitations in a monthly draw is 36, and the lowest minimum score is 90.

The target of the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur stream is the candidates who have an experience in business ownership or senior management. They should live in Nova Scotia, and start afresh business or buy an already existing business, and must show an active participation in the daily management of such business.
In the Entrepreneur stream aspirants are issued a temporary work permit at first before submitting an application for permanent residence, after managing the business for one year. The format used in the stream is the Expression of Interest, and the candidates who are in the pool are invited to apply.

Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream: Requirements for Candidates
Being 21 year old or higher.
Wishing to live permanently in Nova Scotia at the time of owning and managing a business in Nova Scotia.
Having a Minimum net worth of $600,000.
An investment of $150,000 Minimum for establishing/ purchasing a business in Nova Scotia.
Minimum 3-year experience in actively managing /owning a business or 5-year experience in a senior management role.
Having a minimum Score of 5 on the CLB in speaking, reading, listening and writing in English/French.
On February 20th, 2018 the province has conducted a draw for the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream.
In this draw saw two candidates, were issued the ITA and the lowest-ranked candidate had scored 47 points.

The International Graduate Entrepreneur stream has many similarities with the Entrepreneur stream but is aimed to attract freshly graduated candidates who have studied in a university based in Nova Scotia or in the Nova Scotia Community College. They need to have started/purchased a business in Nova Scotia and must have managed it for one year on the Post-Graduation Work Permit.
Candidates receive a nomination for permanent residence provided they have a plan to settle in the province. The stream has the Expression of Interest format like the Entrepreneur stream.

International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: Requirements for Candidates
Intention to live permanently in the state at the time of owning/actively managing a business in Nova Scotia,
A Minimum experience of one year, without break, while actively managing/owning, a Nova Scotia business with 100 percent ownership
Completion of the degree/diploma and a minimum two academic years of full-time, in-person study in Nova Scotia University /Nova Scotia Community College.
A Valid post-graduation work permit,
Having a minimum Score of 7 on the CLB in speaking, reading, listening and writing in English/French
