Manitoba Issued 337 Letters of Advice to Apply for Canada PR
Manitoba maintained its busy beginning to 2019 with the latest Expression of Interest draw for Skilled Workers abroad candidates on Mar 14.

A sum of 337 Letters of Advice to Apply (L.A.As) for a proposal for Canadian PR from Manitoba was announced to Skilled Workers Abroad applicants, of which 274 went to a group that incorporated applicants with a profile in the Canadian Express Entry system.

Canadian Express Entry system controls the pool of applicants for 03 of the country’s principal programs of economic immigration

Express Entry applicants with a provincial nomination earn a further 600 points via their score of Comprehensive Ranking System.

The Manitoba PNP has now announced 1,931 invitations by its  Stream of Skilled Workers Overseas throughout 6 draws in this year.

The M.P.N.P is a portion of the Canadian Provincial Nominee Program, which enables participating provinces and territories of Canada to nominate an allowed number of economic immigration applicants for Canadian PR each year.

To be counted for a Manitoba provincial nomination through the  Stream of Skilled Workers Overseas, the initial step is to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the M.P.N.P, which is then scored depends on the province’s specific points grid.

A fixed number of the leading ranked applicants are then invited to appeal for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR by regular draws from the candidates' pool. The weakest score in the group that incorporated Express Entry applicants was 564.

The M.P.N.P told Express Entry applicants invited in the Mar 14 draw were also expected to have:

  • A genuine job-seeker validation code and Express Entry ID; and
  • Minimum of 6 months of current experience in an occupation on the province’s In-Demand Professions List.

Further 63 LAAs went to skilled foreign workers invited directly by an Initiative of overseas Strategic Recruitment organized by the Manitoba PNP in partnership with organizations in the province. The weakest score among these applicants was 695.
