Latest Saskatchewan EOI Draw Invited 83 Express Entry Candidates

Saskatchewan has invited 83 applicants in the Express Entry to appeal for a provincial nomination for Canada PR in a draw conducted on Feb 27. 

Those invited had an Expression of Interest registered below the Express Entry sub-category International Skilled Worker Saskatchewan, which enables the province to nominate applicants in the Canada Express Entry system for a permanent residence to Canada.

The Express Entry system handles the profiles of applicants for 03 of Canada’s leading categories of economic immigration

·         Canadian Experience Class

·         Federal Skilled Trades Class

·         Federal Skilled Worker Class

Express Entry applicants who appeal for and obtain a provincial nomination is awarded an extra 600 points toward their ranking score of Express Entry and are definitely fast-tracked for an invitation to appeal for Canada permanent residence.

Saskatchewan EOI Draw

To be considered for a Saskatchewan provincial nomination, applicants of Express Entry should also register a specific Expression of Interest with the Program of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee.

An Expression of Interest profile needs information on age, educational background, work experience, knowledge in French or English and links to the Saskatchewan province, such as a nearby family member or prior work or study experience in the Saskatchewan, with other factors.

Express Entry applicants need to have work experience in a high-skilled profession found on In-Demand Professions List of Saskatchewan, among different eligibility criteria.

Profiles are given a score, and those secured 60 points or higher are entered into the candidates' pool. A fixed number of the candidates with the highest-ranked are announced invitations by regular draws.

The lowest-ranked applicants invited to appeal for a provincial nomination in the Feb 27 draw had a score of 68.
