Latest Manitoba EOI Draw Issued 403 Invitations to Apply for Canada PR

The Manitoba province conducted its third EOI draw in less than 03 weeks on Mar 1, inviting 403 immigration applicants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR

The invitations provided and the number announced so far this year by the Manitoba P.N.P to 2,267. Those called had an Expression of Interest profile enrolled with the M.P.N.P below its Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas, or International Education stream.

Presenting an EOI profile is the initial step required for anyone who would like to be counted for a Manitoba nomination for any of these streams. It includes applicants who already have a profile enrolled below the federal Express Entry system.

EOI profiles are given a score depends on many factors that include education, age, work experience, language ability and established links to Manitoba province and the highest-ranked applicants have declared a Letter of Advice to Appeal by the regular invitation rounds.

Express Entry applicants were with a group of 216 Skilled Workers Overseas applicants who got LAAs in the Mar 1 draw. Express Entry applicants who got an LAA were expected to have a genuine Express Entry ID and validation code to job-seeker and minimum six months of current work experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-Demand Professions List.

Express Entry applicants who apply and get a provincial nomination are granted another 600 points via their score of Express Entry ranking, definitely ensuring an invitation to apply for Canadian PR in the following Express Entry Draw.

A different subset of Skilled Workers Overseas applicants who got invitations on Mar 1 had the below credentials:

·         A nearby relative living in Manitoba province or prior education or work experience in the province of Manitoba;

·         Minimum 06 months of current experience in a profession on Manitoba’s In-demand professions list; and

·         Minimum language knowledge in French or English of CLB/NCLC 5 unless the work experience is principally in an organized profession, in which minimum required score is CLB/NCLC 7, or a compulsory trade, minimum required score is CLB/NCLC 6.

The lowest-ranked applicant among these Skilled Workers Overseas applicants had an E.O.I score of 565.

Other 41 Skilled Worker Overseas applicants were announced LAAs through an Initiative Strategic Recruitment in the Mar 1 draw. These initiatives can involve abroad recruitment missions accompanied by the M.P.N.P. The lowest-ranked applicant with this group had an E.O.I score of 621.

International Education and Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream

The Manitoba PNP also announced 126 invitations to the stream of Skilled Workers in Manitoba applicants has the least score of 566 in the Mar 1 draw.

An extra 20 invitations went to the applicants for Stream of International Education. This stream gives quicker pathways to Canada PR for foreign graduates of Manitoba post-secondary colleges who have skills needed by the companies in the province of Manitoba.
