In 2014, 86% of US H-1B Visas are Issued for Indian Tech Firms

According to the data acquired by the computer world through Right of Information Act recently, revealed that out of the total H-1B visas declared by the US government in 2014, for technology firms 86% were only from India. They were hired as IT professionals. 

Apart from this the China stands as the third largest immigrant group in the USA with 5% of H-1B visas for computer professionals behind Mexico and India. 

Based on the report broadcasted by the Computer world, employees’ working in the Infosys the Indian IT provider has alone 508 H-1B visa based workers, working in the US for Apple. Out of which 98% manpower belongs to Asian lineage and the rest might be either Black or Whites. The further report adds that the same assets exist in the company Aetna in Hartford which is the second largest company in hiring the workers those are hired by Infosys.

The USCIS escalates about 65,000 H-1B visas every year in order to bring in the skilled workers from abroad to tranquil the job essentials in the field of IT and non-IT. Adjoining to this 20,000 more visas are assigned for international students who are coursing their studies in the US.
