US based technology giant Cisco has backed India’s decision of moving to WTO on the US visa fee issue. According to Cisco Chairman John Chambers, the US elections are round the corner and India has to keep some patience on the resolution of these issues.

Chambers told that India’s move is very logical of heading towards WTO and asking them to address the issue.

Earlier in this month, India had filed a complaint at the WTO against the decision made by the US regarding fees on its temporary work visas. It was the step that had made Indian IT firms less competitive in the IT market.

Chambers is also the Chairman of the Indo-US business Council, and according to him the ties between the two nations should remain strong. India should show patience as its election time in the US and Chambers is a believer of immigration and he favors in bringing the talent to the US from across the globe.

Meanwhile, India has asked for the discussion with the US under the support of the WTO for resolving the matter.
