The Canadian provinces such as British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta were the favorable destination provinces that attract the applicants for Canadian immigration through Express Entry, while Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia has been attracting new visitors through immigration selection system which was launched previous year.
Latest report by IRCC has revealed that the Canadian provinces that attracts most of the new comers through Express Entry and also which province has granted the most improved certificates for provincial nomination throughout last year.
Last year, IRCC has got 21,562 applications for PR from the applicants who were invited to apply with an extra 15,862 members of family joining the applicants on their applications. By this year’s month of January around 14,058 applications has been approved and that results in around 13,241 visas were granted to the applicants, their dependents and they were 9,739 arrivals in Canada.
In this report, it was revealed that Alberta came out as the most favorable province that has attracted around 7996 of entire applications that were submitted. Around 58% of the applicants who had chosen Alberta were invited to apply under the Experience Class of Canada (CEC). In the previous draws it had selected many CEC applicants due to increased number of overseas workers with LMIA backed employment offers who seek to settle down in Canada. Large number of applicants was Alberta based overseas employees who had migrated to Alberta.
In the report it was said that last year, British Columbia and Ontario had unveiled many improved PNP alternatives. The number of applicants who choose to settle down in these provinces has increased and it is expected that both these provinces would attract important number of new arrivals in future as well.
