Canada Immigration
In order to improve the Canadian Temporary Foreign Worker Program, changes have been made in this program which was announced by HRSDC (Human Resources and Skills Development Canada). These changes will be affecting immediately. There are new rules set for the Canadian employers who Labour Market Opinion (LMO) from Canadian Service before hiring a foreign worker to work in Canada. The changes include that employers who require an LMO will have to pay a $275 processing fee for each position requested.

The employers will no longer be able to indicate any other language apart from English or French as a requirement unless they can display it as an essential requirement for the position. The employers will also have to advertise the position for a longer period of time and more extensively. There are new questions added to the LMO where the employers will have to demonstrate that hiring an immigrant will not have an adverse effect on Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents.

If you are interested in migration to Canada, contact MoreVisas for accurate information and advice on which visa will best suit you. Our professional counsellors will skilfully guide you throughout the entire documentation process.
