The federal government has declared that it will formally open appeals for the long-awaited Australia sponsored temporary visa for the parents of migrants by starting in the next year.

The previous month, the Australia Senate strongly passed the Migration Amendments (Other Measures and Family Violence) Bill 2016 approximately two years after the reforms were primarily declared, which will enable the roll out of the current visa to go ahead.

Details About New Temporary Parents Visa

When the temporary visa was initially declared, the government of Australia stated that candidates would be able to appeal for a three-year visa for a price of $5,000, or a five-year visa for a price of $10,000, with the choice of a single renewal for extra five years at the similar cost.

David Coleman, Immigration Minister, criticized the long pause on the activities of the Labor party, blaming them of delaying the visa by denying the government’s reforms to the legislation after they originally supported it.

This current visa will encourage families rejoin and spend time together, Coleman told. It will present a current pathway for grandparents and parents to meet their family members in Australia, which will produce excellent social benefits to the community of Australia.

The current visa has also drawn a review from migrant advocacy groups due to the huge fees, and the Australia government’s newly improved revision which restricts candidates to 01 set of parents per family.

Immigration expert says that the huge fee isn’t the only problem, there’s a necessary requirement for individual health insurance from a provider of Australia, and in case the parents catch a healthcare debt, the sponsoring children are lawfully obliged to spend it back despite spending such huge fee. Whereas in the ordinary visitor visas, there’s no such plan, he stated.
