A Visa Camp was Organized by the Indian Embassy in the US

The Indian embassy hosted a visa camp on August 29th, 2015 in Baltimore as a part of its goal to accost the visa related concerns of the Indian community residing in and around the America. 

The reports mentioned that the camp was inaugurated by the First Secretary Consular ‘Prasanna Shrivastava’ and received about 150 applications for the visas and received abandonment certificates during the day-long camp. 

During the interaction, he advised the Indian community about the current initiatives taken by the consulate for providing the effective and predictable consular services to the candidates.

This camp was hosted through the service provider the Cox and Kings Global Services (CKGS), with the backing from the Baltimore Fest and ISKCON Baltimore. Further this visa camp was supported by the Shreyas Panchigar Foundation, Maryland India Business Roundtable, and India Samaj Baltimore, Guru Nanak Foundation of America etc. Similarly, such type of visa camp was organized in May 2015 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
