87% of Indian Graduates from UK Universities Satisfied with Their Study
Indian graduates who have studied in the Universities of the UK tell that they earning above-average salaries. 51% of all Indians who are graduating from the UK state that they earn higher or well above the median and 90% of women in this specific group state that they earn average or higher. 87% of graduates were happy with the education knowledge at their UK university. These are few of the findings of the study of Indian Graduate Outcomes 2019, operated by Universities UK International (UUKi), a consortium of higher than 130 universities from Scotland, Wales, England, and Northern Ireland.

Universities UK International Report Details

The report was launched newly by UUKi members and the UK-India Education Research Initiative (U.K.I.E.R.I) members. A committee of senior delegates from 20 UK universities is presently in India to associate with Indian stakeholders to recognize shared priorities for future collaboration, especially in research and education.

Near to 1,000 students from India in the total of 16,000 students from various nationalities who had finished their studies within Jan 2011 and Jul 2016 were examined to know their experience of studying in the UK, their satisfaction and happiness with their education and their present jobs. The first ten countries in the study include China, the United States of America, India, Nigeria, Germany, Greece, Italy, France, Malaysia, and Romania representing 45% of the respondent base.

The job pleasure of UK graduates is greater because the chances of obtaining the job of one’s option markedly improve. The possibility of UK graduates who are working in India in the roles of managerial positions was 23% greater than the global median, told Vivienne Stern, UUKi Director.

60% of respondents from India surveyed told they were in their contemporary jobs because it was specifically the type of work they needed to do, with 82% stating they are happy or very satisfied with their jobs. Computing/IT continues the best industry where Indian graduates gained employment accompanied by education.

The bulk of Indian respondents were in the age of 25 and 39 and it had studied a postgraduate qualified degree in the Universities of UK. 32 percent were females and 68 percent were males. 62% of respondents from India returned back to home country to work, with 16% working in the UK, 4% in the U.A.E, 4% in the U.S.A, 2% in Australia and the remainder working elsewhere.

The number of international and Indian students going to the UK for education is increasing. There has been a 42% rise in the number of students from India moving to the UK for studies, in one year as per the recent immigration statistics published by the Home Office of UK.
