British Columbia Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot
Higher than 30 communities over the British Columbia have registered to be a member of the new British Columbia's Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot

The 02-year British Columbia PNP pilot is intended to bring entrepreneurs to build businesses in smaller communities with less than 75,000 populations. These smaller communities are meeting some of the further acute problems with aging populations and shortening labor markets.

Net worth requirements and Investment for the Regional Pilot are half of those specified for the primary Entrepreneur stream of British Columbia.

Due to a preference for city living and an aging workforce, few smaller towns can meet difficulties developing their local economies, as stated by Bruce Ralston, B.C. Trade, Jobs, and Technology Minister.

This pilot will bring new businesses that generate jobs and spread investment throughout the province so many British Columbians can profit from shared prosperity.

Below the Regional Pilot, applicants are expected to invest $100,000, have a $300,000 net worth and create 1 job for a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.

The Regional Pilot is solely for entrepreneurs hoping to start a new business. Those intending to acquire an existing business must consider British Columbia's primary Entrepreneur Immigration stream.
