131st Express Entry: 3,600 ITAs Issued to Candidates with CRS Score 471
The Canadian Government announced 3,600 invitations to apply for Canada PR to Express Entry applicants in the latest draw that took place on November 27.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (C.R.S) points score required in the current draw was 471. This is a decline of 1 point from the past Express Entry draw which took place on November 13, which had a CRS cut-off score of 472 points.

The Federal Express Entry system is Canadian leading source of skilled international labor. It maintains the candidates' pool for the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Class, these are three of Canada’s principal Economic immigration programs.

Qualified applicants are provided a score beneath Express Entry’s CRS that is based on parameters such as the age of the applicant, education, proficient work experience and skill in the languages of English and/or French.

A job offer is not mandatory to receive an Express Entry invitation to apply (ITA), even though supplementary points are given if a candidate has a job offer. The Canadian Government holds monthly draws for a fixed number of the highest-scoring Express Entry applicants and the minimum CRS score is decided by the draw size.

More Details About 131st Express Entry Draw

Refugees, Immigration, & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) practiced a tie-break rule on date and time which was 11 November 2019 and at 6:29:10 UTC respectively in this draw. This signifies that all applicants with a score of 471 points who submitted their profile in the Express Entry Pool before this date & time got an ITA.

Parameters that can influence the CRS cut-off score include the draw size (bigger draws can create a lower minimum CRS score) and also the time within draws (smaller periods within the draws can help to decrease the CRS score).

Today’s draw takes the number of Express Entry applicants who have obtained an ITA this year to 78,900. It leaves IRCC approximately 11,000 ITAs less when related to last year’s record of 89,800 ITAs with just a month left in 2019.

Despite whether this record reaches or falls, the latest year will see the admissions goal rise to 85,800 for the 3 Express Entry associated immigration classes, up from 81,400 in this year.

The admissions goal for Canadian PNPs is also set to rise from 61,000 to 67,800 in the year 2020, a portion of which is controlled by the Federal Express Entry system.

Nine provinces in Canada and 3 territories in Canada have so-called “improved” provincial nominee programs that are connected to the Express Entry system. These programs allow these provinces and territories to issue invitations to Express Entry applicants to apply for a nomination from the province for Canadian PR.
