116th Express Entry Draw
The Canadian Government invited 3,350 Express Entry applicants to appeal for Canada Permanent Residence through 116th Express Entry draw taken place on May 1.

The CRS cut-off score in the current draw was 450, which is 1 point lesser than the minimum CRS score in the past draw that is held on Apr 17, in which the score was 451.

It is the 4th time that the Comprehensive Ranking System (C.R.S) cut-off score has reduced since Feb 20.

The Express Entry System controls the pool of aspirants for Canada’s Federal Skilled Trades Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and Canadian Experience Class; these are 03 Canada’s leading categories of economic immigration and together take in the most significant share of economic class immigrants every year.

Qualified applicants for these categories are moved into the pool of Federal Express Entry and provided a ranking score as per the following factors such as the age of the applicant, educational background, skilled work experience and knowledge in English language or French language.

The top-ranked applicants are invited to appeal for Canada PR through general draws from the pool.

More Details about the 116th Express Entry Draw

The current draw brings the Invitations to Apply (I.T.As) number announced to Express Entry applicants in the year 2019 to 31,250.

It puts 2019 6,750 I.T.As forward of the number declared at this equivalent point in the year 2018, a year that observed IRCC build a latest Express Entry I.T.A record of 89,800 ITAs announced in a single year.

The growing number of invitations indicates increasing admissions goals for the 03 Express Entry controlled programs, which are estimated to grow periodically between 2019 and 2021.

The tie-break rule utilized by I.R.C.C in the May 1 draw was Nov 5, 2018, at 12:27:07 UTC. It implies that all aspirants with a C.R.S score over 450, along with those applicants who secure 450 and registered their profile in the Federal Express Entry pool former to this date and time, got an ITA.

It is probable that the least CRS score could be further dropped if I.R.C.C holds bigger or more numerous draws this year.
