Denmark Immigration in India

Denmark immigration in India
If you have decided to (emigrate) migrate (from India to Denmark) to Denmark from India, getting a visa will be one of your main concerns.

Denmark immigration in India:

The good news is that there is a centre in New Delhi for Denmark immigration in India; applicants simply need to pop along to the International Trade Tower, take a token and wait to be seen.

The office for Denmark immigration in India is open five days a week, between the hours of 9.00 and 4.30. You can either attend in person or you can opt to use a Denmark immigration consultant (agent) to make the application on your behalf. Agents who are submitting more than four applications at once can   only attend between the hours of 9.00 to 11.00 am.

Although the office for Denmark immigration in India is open until 4.30pm, it operates a token system and these will only be distributed until 2pm each day. This provides everyone with the best chance of being seen before the office closes.

The standard processing time is around 16 days which includes assessment by the Danish Embassy. However, in some cases, a referral to the (Danish) Denmark Immigration Service will be required; if this is necessary, a visa may take up to 8 weeks to be decided.

Denmark immigration visa:

There are certain requirements which must be fulfilled in order for a visa to be issued for Denmark immigration in India. The accompanying passport must have at least 2 blank pages, have been issued in the last 10 years and remain valid for a further three months after your planned arrival back in India. However, you cannot apply too far in advance either; any visa application for Denmark immigration in India must be made within three months of the intended travel date.

Because the offices that deal with immigration to Denmark could potentially be a security target, there are very strict measures in place to protect staff and customers alike.

There is a long list of prohibited items which must not be taken into the office of Denmark immigration in India under any circumstances.

This includes:
• Sealed packages or envelopes
• Any kind of bag, briefcase, rucksack, zip folders or other cloth, material, or leather holdalls. Only a clear plastic bag which contains your application papers only will be permitted onto the premises
• All electronic or battery operated devices. This includes MP3 players, cameras, laptops, DVD players or floppy disks
• Any inflammatory items such as lighters or matches
• Sharp implements such as knives, scissors or nail files
• Explosive materials or any kind of weapons

The Denmark immigration in India centre in New Delhi does not have storage facilities available for any of the above; if you are planning on visiting you must ensure that you have none of the items on your person and if you do, you will need to arrange for alternative storage and safekeeping before you enter the building.
