Canadian education scores high

Canadian education scores high

Canadian education is usually separated into three areas, Primary education, secondary education and post secondary (college or university). Inside the various provinces beneath the ministry of education are the district school boards rendering the educational programs. In Canada it is mandatory to complete education until the age of 16 years old in each of the individual provinces, other than Manitoba, New Brunswick and Ontario where the mandatory age of education is up to the age of 18 years old, or the moment a high school diploma is accomplished. Some of the provinces can issue exemptions allowing early leave in specific situations.

Schools in Canada are willing to accept teachers from overseas if they meet specified criteria. Allowing immigrants to set up home and teach in the Canadian schools using their experience and qualifications is a wonderful opportunity for both the applicant and the students. A shortage of specialised teachers has been reflected in the overall educational result received, new teachers with impeccable teaching abilities are welcomed to improve the level of education as well as the economic value. Applicants meeting the criteria and willing to migrate to Canada can do this by applying for a Canadian work permit.

A Canadian work permit is available to an abundance of various trades, for people who can fill  jobs which the workforce in Canada is lacking. The opportunities and availabilities change quite frequently so it is essential to check the skill you possess is in shortage at the time the application is made. Qualified experienced teachers are usually on the list. Applicants looking to teach in Canada should have knowledge and understanding of both English a French, be able to provide evidence, of a lengthy work experience using the skills which match up with with skills they will use in Canada upon the permit being granted.

The Canadian work permit is determined on a points based system, the higher the points received the more chance of the application being successful. The applicant will need to provide suitable documentation to support the application, the documents could also improve the chances of the applicant gaining an acceptable amount of points. The applicants age can also establish how many points are given, if the applicant is 35 or under they can be granted unto 12 points, points rewarded for age then decrease, if the applicant is over 46 they will receive zero points under the age section.
